This whole week has been quite a nitemare for me at work~ sudden weird error of Eventum... Found out that DB table has a problem. Tried to repair n repair but couldn't work. DB updates are going from bad to worse.. etc... Jialat la... reali not my dae lor...
Ytd stayed till abt 9 to try ways and means to solve the problem. Y MySQL is so troublesome? So Logical? 1 table muz split into 3 files, structure file, data file and index file. No wonder such error occurs. Coz pointing to the wrong index lah~
Went to work today with a heavy heart... :( Things din get well.. Every 5 min, will trigger auto-error 17 emails to my managers and me~ coz i'm the administrator lah... haiz...
Wat's going on? and worse still.... I can't REMOTE access.... the folder.. .not to mention touch the server lor... haiz...
Went to MIS, and got more shocks~~ Network cable spoilt.. network card spoilt... reinstall driver... reboot server.. bla bla bla... thn SAVED~ eventum was up and running but with my DB errors... :(
suddenly at 3pm... server down again... tis time... went to MIS.. and after investigation, it's HDD failure... SHIT~ so SUAY wor....
IS this a good or bad reason? good as in, i'm not to be blame? Bad is.. i got lots of restoration and setting up and it has to WORK~ GOD BLESS ME.......
mis helped to recover the data... and copied the file out to me... tried to unzip the backup file that i scheduled everyday.... and.. tada~ realised..... unzipping oso got problem~ kaoz.... damn suay.. coz hdd problem, caused data to hv problem.... thn... i slowly tried to unzip... from 14Jan backup to 13Jan,12 Jan... lesser and lesser errors till 10Jan.. finally no errors... Alrite.. that shall be my backup data file to be used after they clone the disk bah...
haiz... but hor... mis colleague told me sth... i might nid to reinstall and setup everything if cloning fails... whao.. shit shit... tat nitemare better not cum.. i'd done lots of updates and fixes and customisation liao.. i dun hv any backup files lor...
Wat will be my fate on MONDAY??
