Went to night safari with Raymond yesterday… wow~ my 1st time at nite safari…so happy…. I was really happy…. I went to the zoo and the Bird Park last yr… nw… my dreams of Night Safari… =D
I wanna be happy for my trip…. Too stressed up with work and my family liao…. Yesterday so scary… haiz~
Met fren at AMK MRT~ wah say… walked from hm to the Hougang Ave 2 bus stop to wait for 132… to go to AMK…. Waited long for the bus… finally reached liao… then I saw fren talking over the fone. Haha~ 1st sentence he said was… you are very sleepy ah? Just woke up? =X
5pm le wor…. I woke up long ago… but I was tired liao.
Went to Jack’s Place to eat…. Haha~ he said… got Ikea there.. actually it’s COURTS lah… =X
Enjoyed the food… so big potato.. ate tat… had a taste of the lobster soup… tasted like concentrated prawn soup? Haha~ I had mushroom soup… =D
After tat we took bus from AMK interchange to the zoo… kekeke~ talking all the way till we reached zoo…. Quite a while since I’ve last took long journey bus… ever since I left SIA… hmm~ miz there…. Miss my colleagues and boss there…my LAO PA…. Hmm~ the scary HG MALL and oso …. Tat unfriendly DA MU GUA…
Bought the tix for Night Safari… $18 + $6… per person for the entrance fee and the Tram ride…
Fren took photos of my favourite giraffe… hehe~ so happy…. Lalalalala….
Took the tram ride… kind of dark throughout the journey.. then suddenly I du du tong… sianz… my tat stomach problem again… no medicine… jialat… dun wanna let others see what happened to me wor… will scare them de… I tried to endure… luckily the degree of pain was mayb 20% only… not tat much…
We walked our way… back to the entrance… going for the animal show… GD GD!!! Saw snake… and other animals… quite funny n interesting….
Before the show, we went toilet 1st… sianz.. as I was going out from the toilet, got a lady pushed the door so hard tat she slammed hard on me…. my du du already so pain pain… she slammed mi until I almost saw stars ….
I tink I did made my fren worry for a while… so paiseh~ didn’t wnna let ppl see one.. I tink only XM, pefe, Sharon and a few others saw my stomach pain pain time~ face white white… hands cold cold.. pain until no energy to talk… hmm~ haizz… so sad! My lousy du du…
Anyway, after an hr plus, it was quite ok liao… heng…. We continued taking the tram for the 2nd time… until we covered the full tram ride.. but we couldn’t see giraffe… my GIRAFFE!! Wanna see tat.. since I went to the day zoo… but no chance.
We walked all the way from the entrance to the giraffe area.. using the map…. Saw the ranger… that fren spoke to earlier on…. Place dark dark… fren scared… mi a bit scared occasionally… but still ok… too bad.. couldn’t take photos wif flash…
Fren attempted to take …. But I guess it would be very dark… awaits for the photos…
We saw tigers… leopards and my GIRAFFE~~~ took photo wif the giraffe. Oh ya… oso took 2 photos wif fren on the tram… I guess tat would be the best shot? Coz there’s lighting? So the pic would be clearer… when we self-took the photo, I tot of XM… hmm~ coz.. tats what I used to do.. always self-taking photo using her digi cam… hmm~
Took video of the giraffe too… and our funny conversation? Suddenly tot of mikaaa… her cam dun hv audio… tat time I tink I gek her… coz.. she nvr tot of it…. But tat was my main priority if I were to buy a digi cam…. =X
Subsequently, fren and I went to the leopard trail… well…. I honestly didn’t know at he was talking.. leo pard? I was so blur liao… tot for a long time.. duno what he was saying… analysed the signboard… after long time, then I realised~ after his explanation…. He was actually referring to leopard lah… pronounced wrongly….
If only I knew that he pronounced wrongly… it’s because I didn’t know what he was talking about that made the whole thing an even greater joke… I guess it was the joke of the day… but I can see tat he was paiseh.. so dun wanna say much abt it… malu mah…
Anyway, at the giraffe area… I oso said abt the ci n xiong… male n female.. I oso dint really know hw to differentiate…
Talking abt tat… earlier on…. fren oso said… potato … is fan shu…. But actually it should be ma ling shu… coz…. Fan shu is sweet potato…
I guess we really had lots of fun tat night…. Silly mistakes made by the both of us…. Haha~ tink I wil remember how to differentiate ci and xiong liao… whereas he will remember the correct pronunciation of leopard…
We say MAGADASCAR cute cute … with the big big eyes… it had long tail.. it was so minute… mini mini one… haha~ I doubt the video would turn out nice…. Duno even wif editing, will it be able to see some screens anot~ haizz…
Overall, I really enjoyed myself…. Exploring the night safari…. Hmm~ gt 1 time…. Coz fren scared? Then hold his hand to walk… awhile… then machiam sch kids.. walking in twos lydat….
Really funny when wif fren, be it online or movie or makan or nite safari…
Saw tapair, elephant playing wif the log…. Giraffe eating up all the leaves…. Leopard wif the nice skin…. Bearded pig… deers, lions…. Wow~ wonderful sight… =D
AT 1st I tot, we would take the bus back to AMK. Then from there took separate cab hm. Coz I live in hg, he lives in Clementi… but we only left safari at 12+… so took a cab directly frm there….
Didn’t really like to tell ppl where I live. Dun like others to comment abt this… but… kind of no choice… nvm lor… Anyway, it was really an enjoyable day… 12th June 2005… my 1st visit to the Night Safari.
