I went to book a cab today as I was running late. Cab should come in 7 mins. I was waiting by the roadside... Waiting impatiently for the cab to arrive.
I was so happy when I saw the cab finally arrive. hehe~ A surprise awaits me when the taxi driver confirmed my booking identity. Oops~ wat a suprise! I saw my (granduncle) 三舅公。HAHA!!! 1st time in my life I took a cab belonging to my relative. And I actually called the cab company to make a booking! wow... tat realli doesn't happen everyday.
三舅公 turned off the taxi meter, including the booking fee. I told him to charge as per normal but he refused.
We chatted throughout the journey.. haha!! interesting... talked about my grandma, my parents, uncle and auntie. keke... of coz abt my current life, career and future plans. =)
Having reached my destination, I tried to give 三舅公 $10. I actually haven even given him the money. I only managed to take it out from my wallet. I knew it wasn't enough to cover the taxi fare. I was pretty sure. But 三舅公wouldn't accept or agree. Only asked me to hurry up as I was running very late already.
He wouldn't take the $ hence I thanked him again and again.
